Directions

Please allow extra time for your journey as traffic around Southampton Port can be busy. If you have a Sat Nav, we strongly recommend using it due to multiple route options from the M3 and M27.

  1. From the M3, take Junction 13 and follow the M27 West towards Southampton Docks and Bournemouth.
  2. From the M27, take Exit 14 and follow signs for Southampton and the A33.
  3. Continue on the A27 briefly, then at Chilworth Roundabout take the second exit onto Bassett Avenue A33.
  4. Stay on the A33 through Memorial Roundabout and continue for approximately 3 miles.
  5. Follow signs via Dorset Street and St Andrews Road, then take a slight right onto Kingsway A33.
  6. Turn left onto Central Bridge A3025 and continue on the toll road for around 0.9 miles.
  7. Continue onto Portsmouth Road, then Wharf Road.
  8. Drive to the end of Wharf Road where you will see the entrance to Cruise Parking Ltd ahead.

Arrival instructions

Upon arrival at the car park:

  1. You will be greeted and checked-in by a member of staff.
  2. Your car will then be parked for you and staff will assist you with your luggage.
  3. Take the transfer bus operated by Airlynx, to the cruise terminal.

Please ensure you allow sufficient time to complete your vehicle check-in and port transfer.

Return instructions

On return to Southampton:

  1. Proceed directly to the designated coach bays.
  2. Take the transfer to the car park operated by Airlynx.

Arrival time requirements

  • Arriving less than two hours before your vessel sailing time may result in refusal of the bus transfer

Booking details required

  • Vessel information must be provided in advance

  • Passenger numbers must be supplied

  • Vehicle registration details are required

  • Contact APH if any of this information has not yet been provided

Security

Don't worry about your car while cruising, either. While you're exploring the oceans, Cruise Parking will be caring for your vehicle in its fully secured car park with CCTV coverage, security fencing and regular patrols throughout the day. 

Disabled facilities

Blue Badge holders who require extra help should contact the car park once a booking has been made. Additional parking assistance can then be arranged.

Transfer details

Transfers operate in-line with all departures and arrivals from Southampton Port. The transfer time is approximately 5 minutes.Transfers included for up to five people. 
Additional people charged at £5.

Vehicle restrictions

  • Transit vans, minibuses, motorhomes, caravans and trailers are not accepted

  • Vehicles over five metres in length are subject to an additional per day surcharge

  • Transfers included for up to four passengers per vehicle

  • Additional passengers are charged £5 per person, each way

  • Car park only operates when cruise ships are departing or returning at Southampton Port

  • Not available for Isle of Wight (IOW) ferry services

Terms and Conditions

  1. Our Flexible booking option offers you the convenience and flexibility you need. Here’s how it works:
    1. Need to Change Your Plans?
      • You can cancel or change your booking up to 24 hours before your parking period begins without any charges.
    2. Parking Period:
      • Your parking period starts at 12:01 AM on the first day of your booked dates, regardless of your pre-booked arrival time.
    3. Important to Note:
      • If you don’t cancel or update your booking at least 24 hours before your parking period begins, we’ll need to charge you for the full booking. Also, please be aware that we can’t offer refunds if you return earlier than planned.
    4. Booking Adjustments:
      • If you make changes to your booking and the price changes, we’ll either charge or refund the difference based on your adjustments.
